BLACK WATCH SOLDIER

(Reed. Aug. 3, 9 a.m.) JERUSALEM, July 2
One man of the Black Watch was killed and two wounded in a battle with brigands near Kafrjellud to-day. The battle developed after shots had been fired on a military convoy. Six brigands were killed. The casualties io July throughout Palestine totalled 148 Arabs and ( ; 0 Jews killed and 256 Arabs and 201 Jews wounded.
