NAIVE ADMISSION
EX-CONVICTS IN BUSINESS
FATHER AND SONS
LONDON, July 26.
Frankly admitting that they have been in prison, a father and his sons have set up in business. The name at the firm is "Messrs. Moore and Sons, ex-convicts." The four partners (father and the three sons) decided to test whether honesty is the best policy, and started selling scrap. They presented cards to prospective customers, announcing that they were unemployed owing to loss of character and appealing 'for help to keep them out of prison and built up a good name. The prison governer sent them a letter, commending their effort and wishing them luck. The partners say that business at present i's not good.
