GISBORNE COURT FORTNIG HTI j Y M EETIN G The fortnightly meeting of Court William Gladstone, No. 0030, Ancient Order ot Foresters, was held in the Masonic Hall, Childers road, and was presided over bv the chief ranger, Bro. G. File. P.C.R.s present were: Bros. E. File, F. Burrows, J. Williamson, V. Clements. E. G. Miller. J. Burgess. W. J. Atlwood, 11. O. Hansen, and C. Pryce. The sick members' list compared favourably with previous reports. An invitation from the U.A.O.D. to 'join at a social evening was accepted and all members were asked to keep the evening of August 4 free. Officers elected for the ensuing year were:—C.R., Bro. G. File; S,C.R., Bro.
J. A. Watt; S.W., Bro. E. T. Gilchrist; J.W., Bro. R. Neilson; 5.8., Bro. G. Ross; J. 8., Bro. H. Nowell; secretary, Bro. G. S. Bruce; treasurer, Bro. F. S. Sell; M.S., Bro. C. Pryce; press steward, Bro. H. Nowell. It was stated that the members who had been unable to attend meetings of late would be pleased to hear that business put forward had been settled amjcably to both parties. Through the efficient work of the secretary, Bro. Bruce, general business had been at a minimum, and the court, had now the opportunity to open out. into more social activity. All members, young and old, were asked to make special efforts to attend meetings. A comprehensive range of social activities was discussed.
