MEDICAL OFFICER ATTENTION TO THE SICK. (Fur Prwaa Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. In reference to the prevalence of sickness on Great Barrier Island, it is considered likely that an officer ot the Health Department will go there to-morrow to investigate the position and give aid. While there the officer will endeavour to formulate a scheme to cater for the medical needs of the people. Dr. C. B. Gilberd. of the Health Department, Auckland, said he had been in communication with the resident district nurse by telephone on several occasions recently. The scattered nature of the population made nursing difficult.
