SHEARING CHAMPIONSHIP

MANAWATU PLANS Arrangements for a New Zealand young farmers' shearing championship competition, the first ever held in the Dominion, to be staged at the coming Manawatu Spring Show, have been made by a special sub-com-mittee of the Manawatu young farmers' clubs. Three classes have been decided on, so that the novice will be catered for as well as the experienced shearer. More than £SO is to be distributed in prize money. It is expected that competitors will be present from all parts of the country.
