A message from Barcelona states that an air raid on Falset killed 40 people, wounded 130 and destroyed 180 houses.
Falset is an important Government communication centre between Grandesa and Tarragona.
A Sarngossa message states that tlie Nationalists claim they are continuing the advance on the Estramadura front and have taken 7000 prisoners and much war material.
A message despatched from Ilendaye on Friday stated that severe fighting continued in the Ebro section. The Republicans claimed to have advanced three miles towards Gandes. Nationalist planes, working in relays, were unceasingly bombing the Republican communications.
