Mr. R. C. Barnicoat, formerly of Massey Agricultural College, Pahnerston North, has been awarded the degree of doctor of philosophy by the University of Minnesota. Dr. Barnicoat, who was awarded a fellowship from the commonwealth fund Tor special dairy research, has been in the United States for two years. He will be returning to New Zealand towards tlia end of the year, after spending a short time in Europe.
