THE WESTLAND SEAT It is announced that Mr. E. B. E. Taylor will be an Independent National candidate for the Westland seal at the coming general ejection. Mr. Taylor, who is a barrister and solicitor, is a son of the late Mr. T. E. Taylor, M.P. He was educated at the Christchurch Boys' High School an f ] Canterbury College. After qualifying in law he visited Canada and the United States and also made a trip to South America. He was in practice in Taumarunui before recently going to the West Coast. The present member for Westland is Mr. J. O'Brien (Labour).
