LONDON, July 27. The British plane Mercury, which landed at Montreal last Thursday after crossing the Atlantic from Foy. nes, Ireland, to-day completed the return journey when she reached Southampton at 8.21 p.m. to-day. Sl.c left Lisbon at 2.40 p.m.

The 1500 miles between Botwood. Newfoundland, and the Azores were flown at an average speed of 200 miles an hour.

Her flying time from the Azores to Lisbon was six hours.
