Export Butter with an average of over 94 points, Kia Ora blitter has sesured the highest grade of all factories in Poverty Bay and East Coast districts for butter manufactured for export in the 1937-38 season. Waikato Show Kia Ora won the most important prize; gaining first prize for butter taken from grade store. This prize was won in competition with factories from all parts of New Zealand and was butter of average daily quality as sold by Kia Ora in Gisborne. IT WAS NOT SPECIALLY MADE SHOW BUTTER, an independent Government Officer instructed by the Show Committee, having taken a box from grade store of butter made on a date determined and known only to the committee.
