FLA( i FIVF-HFNDRKD (Hwrald Correspondent.) A most enjoyable flag five-hundred party was held at the Hauiti meetinghouse on Tuesday in aid of the Labour Party’s funds. Nine tables of players were present, and a dainty savoury supper was served by the Hauiti ladies. The winning table was occupied by Mrs. Wilson, Mr. C. Parker, Mrs. Hautapu, and Mr. J. Morris. The ladies’ points prize was won by'Mrs. Morris, and the gentlemen’s by Mr. D. Temple. The two travelling envelope prizes, donated by Mrs. Hautapu and Mrs. Grey, were both won by Mrs. H. Amaru. Additional trophies were received by Mrs. McLean and Mr. A. Morris. A cake presented for competition, and won by Mrs. Hautapu. was handed back to be auctioned for the benefit of the fund. St. Andrew’s Girls’ Club At the weekly meeting of the St. Andrew’s Girls’ Club 18 girls were present. Mrs. A. Lincoln judged the competitions, the winners being: Cooking, Jean Higgs 1, June Higgs 2; handwork, K. Baker 1, J. Kearney 2. The winner of the games competition was K. Baker. Songs and pianoforte solos were supplied by T. Kelly, J. Kearney, M Kutia, F. Ross, and A. Hauwaho.
