Mr. M. P. Brown, Napier, one of the New Zealanders who attended the annual convention of Rotary International at San Francisco, returned to Auckland by the Niagara.
Mr. S. B. McLennan. a Dunedin artist, who has achieved considerable success in England, is on his way back to New Zealand for a short vacation.
Sir Norman Kater, a member of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales, was a through passenger for Sydney by the Niagara. With Lady Kater he has been on a holiday visit to Great Britain and Europe. The Hon. Christopher Loder and the Hon. Henrietta Loder, son and daugh. ter of the Governor of New South Wales, Lord Wakehurst, arrived in Auckland from Sydney this week They will leave by the Rangitiki from Wellington to-morrow for England.
