LONG ILLNESS ENDS
MASTER ROBERT PIEdIER
A long illness terminated last night in the death of Master Robert Nathaniel Pilcher, aged 15, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Pilcher, 454 Palmerston road. The lad had been ailing for six years, and although his suffering had become more acute of recent .imes he was a patient suli'erer right to the end.
Master Pilcher was born m Gisbornc and educated at the Gisborne ‘ Central School. Amongst his schoolmates iie was well liked, and, was ■ greatly esteemed by all who knew ij him.
Besides his parents, he leaves two sisters, Mrs. C. Snell, Inangahua Junction, and Miss Molly Pilcher, Gisborne.
A short service took place at his late residence this afternoon, prior to the departure of the funeral for the i Taruheru cemetery.
