Messier Channel, in the Strait of Magellan about a month ago. As the ship was badly damaged the captain ordered the crew to abandon her. She is stated to be insured .for sonic COO.OOO. Die Harnienteh was in Auckland last December at the same Lime as her sistership. H .rbledown, both vessels having wheat cargoes from Australia. Of 5415 gross tons, the Harmanteh was built in Port Glasgow in 19.12 for J.
