DENTAL CLINIC FUND
TOLAGA BAY EFFORT OVER HOG NOW IN HAND Interest in the proposal to establish a school dental clinic in the Tolaga Bay district has been reflected in donations aggregating a substantial sum, and at a recent meeting ol the committee sponsoring the proposal, it was reported that over £9O was now available towards the building ol the clinic.
Of considerable interest was a further report, that Mr. H. F. Forster, Gisborne, had undertaken to organise a concert in aid ol the fund. This function, which will be held in Tolaga Bay on July 7, is expected to prove one of the most enjoyable ever staged in the township. The programme will include the best of the year's items from Savage Club's programmes, a demonstration of conjuring by Mr. 11. Moore, jthe -polished amateur conjurer whose skill has never failed to intrigue and confound his audiences, and selections by a strong representation of Savage Club instrumentalists. The Y.M.C.A. harmonica orchestra also has undertaken to contribute to the programme. Arrangements were made by the committee to furnish the necessary assistance for the staging of the concert, and deep appreciation of the offer of Mr. Forster and those associated with him was expressed.
