GISBORNE SEAT

NATIONAL CANDIDATE APPROVED BY EXECUTIVE The Dominion executive of the New Zealand National Political Party- has approved the nomination of Mr. K. F. Jones as the party candidate for the Gisborne seat at the forthcoming general elections.

Advice to this effect has been received by the district executive, which recently forwarded Mr. Jones name to the Dominion, committee, after his selection by the electorate conference. Campaign .preliminaries are proceeding promisingly, under the Natrona colours, and the district executive has had most satisfactory assurances of support from the outlying portions of the electorate, as well as from tne town and nearby country areas.
