COMPENSATED PRICE

MANAWATU CAMPAIGN APPHAL TO FAPMKR.S (Per l*n»ss Assonntion.) PALMERSTON N. f this day. At a meeting of dairy factory representatives and Farmers’ Union delegates to-day, it was decided to support the principle of closing the gap between prices and costs. Dairy company directors and suppliers are to be urged to give their support to the compensated price campaign. It was not thought opportune, however, to set up a separate organisation for the purpose. The control of the campaign in the meantime is left in the hands of the Farmers’ Union.
