A further remand was granted Timaru William Joss, alias Timothy Joss, when he appeared yesterday before Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Police Court charged with being in a state of intoxication at Muriwai on April 13 while in charge of a ltiotor vehicle. The application was made through Mr. L. T. Burnard, who was appearing for the accused, and the hearing of the case was fixed for May 17. Bail was renewed.
