Tikitiki teachers who attended the monthly meeting of the Teachers' Institute, held last Saturday at the Hiruharama Native School, were - — Mr. and Mrs. A. Dobson, Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson, Miss J. Archibald,-and Mr. C. Turner.
I Mr. C. Calvert, agricultural instructor for Poverty Bay, was thf guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Fergu son. Whakawhitira last week-end. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Black and thei' two young daughters, Shirley anf Leisley, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. Dobson at the week-end. Mr. P.'J. Bayliss and Miss M. -' South, Hicks Bay, were week-enc guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Fergu son, "Whakawhitira; —Mr. L. Gi: tings is expected to return to Tikitiki to-day irom Gisborne. The rainfall recorded at Walron> Station, Tikitiki, for March was 4.11 in. Rain fell on three days, the heaviest fall being 2.27 in. on Marc» 31. The total recorded for the three months of this year is 27.63 in.
