Two more electric rail cars from Liverpool reached Auckland by the motor ship Otaio.
The North Country candidate, Miss Beulah Pettigrew, won the winter show queen carnival at Te Kuiti. As a result of the carnival, which has been running for eight weeks £I2OO lias been raised for the erection of a building in which to hold the annual show at Te Kuiti and the surrounding districts.
