MARRIAGE AIDS WOMEN .VIEWS OF AN EDITRESS LONDON, March 24. The editress of the Enclycopaedia Britannica Year Book, Mrs. M. D. Law, says she believes that marriage helps rather than hinders a woman to pursue a career. "Many important things are forced upon the married woman's interest by her husband, children, house, and garden, that do not come the way of single women," she said. "Men are splendid, and have brilliant ideas, but when it comes to carrying them out, arranging schedules, dates, and other details', women are absolutely in thenelement." . Mrs. Law is the only woman doing her type of work in Britain. She deals'with more than 180 contributors each a world authority in his held, and' handles an office staff of 3? women and eight men.
