STAFF DANCE
MESSRS. FINDLAYS' FUNCTION A very enjoyable dance was held by the staff of Messrs. Findlays, Limited, on Saturday evening in Findlays' reception rooms, the dance music being provided by Mrs. W. E. Thomson's orchestra, and the duties of M.C ably carried out by Mr. J. Turbitt. The dancers present comprised members of the staff and their friends, all spending a very jolly evening. Dance contests were popular features of the programme, a Monte Carlo waltz being won by Miss Miller and Mr. Crothers, and the spot waltz by Miss M. Crosby and Mr. D. McKenzie. A dainty supper was served in an interval between dances. Those present included Mesdames Murland, C. Hume, H. Airey, F. Miller, Thorstenson, R. Brooks, Morton, R. M. Shaw, N. McNamara, N.
