FLOSS, one of the female Polar bears at the Newtown Zoo, is seen in the bear-pit where she was the victim of her mate. Floss had been at the Zoo for 15 years, and was well known to visitors. The male Polar bear which killed her was imported from Hobart recently with another female bear.
