Five youths left Mangapehi, near To Kuiti, to go pig hunting on SunMay, and when they failed to return fears were entertained for their safety. Search parties set out early next morning and the youths, A. Hail, J. Dentley, A. Buckthorpe, T. Buckthorpc and A. Cressy, were found at !i o’clock. The youths were found in heavy bush. When following up p'gs they had lost their way and darkness had overtaken them.
