FAMINE IN STAMPS
HONGKONG, Jan. 13.
The influx of refugees has increased mails so much that there is a postage stamp famine, and duty stamps are being used in their place. Another cause of shortage is that a reprint of King George V stamps arrived from London gummed together; they are now being unstuck by coolies using bowls of hot water.
