HUGE AERODROME

GERMAN ENTERPRISE

LONDON, March 1

The new Tempelhof aerodrome, in Berlin, to be completed in 1939, will be four times the size of the present one. It will be one and a half-miles long and one mile wide—the greatest aerodrome in the world. It will be 10 minutes’ run from the centre to Berlin, but will be more accessible when Herr Hitler’s north-south road is completed. The airport will be 1000 ft. long and all aeroplanes will be entered and checked out under cover of the roof. There will be room for 80,000 spectators.
