KAHUTIA ON TOP
COSMOPOLITAN BEATEN ANNUAL TROPHY MATCH Playing on the Kahutia bowling green last evening, rinks representing Kahutia had the better of the annual trophy competition with bowling members of the Cosmopolitan Club, winning six games out of seven and halving the odd game. The trophy, a handsome cup which last year was won by Kahutia, was retained by the representatives of that club, the presentation of which v/as carried out in the social hall by Mr. C. Batson, vice-president of Cosmopolitan, Mr. B. Power returning thanks on behalf of Kahutia and expressing keen appreciation of the sportsmanship shown by the losers. The social atmosphere of the annual competition was well sustained, the Cosmopolitan players furnishing the supper which followed the completion of the games.
