The Portuguese Charge d'Affaires called at the Foreign Office to-day. and expressed Portugal's pleasure at the visit of the British warships to Lisbon, and appreciation with which the messages of Admiral Sir Roger Backhouse, Commander-in-Chief of the Home Fleet, had been received.
