WORK IN DOMINION
LONDON CARPENTER (Per Tress Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Carrying a guarantee of employment lor three years as a carpenter and joiner at tradeunion rates in Hew Zealand, a young London carpenter who had worked his passage on the steamer Port Melbourne signed off the vessel at Auckland ffiis morning and later left for Wellington, where he expects to be given work on the Government housing scheme. He figures that he will be better off at £5 a week for 40 hours in New Zealand than on £3 17s.Gd he had Been earning for a longer week m London.
