(Horald Correspondent.) Mr. and Mrs. J. McNeil, assisted by Ivliss Molly McNeil, entertained a number of friends at their home recently. A delightful luncheon was daintily served in the shade of the trees. Games were played, tennis proving popular among the young people. A delicious afternoon tea was served in the shade of the trees. Among those present were: Mr. and Mrs. J. McNeil, Mr. and Mrs. Ormundson, Mr. and Mrs. Ford, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce (Whangara), Mr. and Mrs. Findlay (Auckland), Mr. and Mrs. Alan Frazer, Mr. and Mrs. R. Hayes, Mr. and Mrs. Barrett; Mesdames Methias and Wilcox; Misses M. McNeil, G. Williams, G. Ormundson, S. Ormundson, Shona McNeil, M. Hayes and Merle Hayes; Messrs. M. McNeil and D. Bruce.

Mr. and Mrs. P. Hockley, Gisborne, were recently the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Williams. —Mr. Chadwick has returned to Rangitukia. — Mr. and Mrs. J. Hayes, Wai-o-mata-tini, have returned home after spending an enjoyable holiday in the thermal regions.—Mr. Mackay, Misses Scott, McKay and Tomahore have returned to Wai-o-matatini to resume teaching. The re-dedication of the Porourangi carved meeting house at Wai-o-matatini is scheduled for March 28. .The celebrations will take the form of a hui.
