ANTI-JEWISH CAMPAIGN
150 LEADERS WARNED
(Reed. Feb. 3, 3 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 2
The Daily Telegraph’s representative at Sofia says that, inspired by Rumania’s example, anti-Semitism is taking a serious aspect throughout Bulgaria.
All the windows in the Sofia synagogue were smahed and over 150 prominent Jews received anonymous letters warning them to leave the country in a fortnight if they wish to live.
The police raided the house of the leader of the Bulgarian Nazis, Professor Kantasi, but no statement was issued.
