GENEVA CONFERENCE ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION (Per Pross Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The next conference of the International Labour Office will be held at Geneva on June 2 and nominations to represent employers and workers respectively close with the Laboui Department on February 14. Items on the agenda are:— (1) Technical and vocational education and apprenticeship; (2) the regulation of contracts of employment of indigenous workers; (3) regulating the placing and conditions of labour and equality of treatment of migrant workers; (4) regulation of hours of work and rest periods of professional drivers and their assistants of vehicles engaged in .road transport; and (5) generalisation of a reduction of hours of work.
