PENSIONS FOR SOLDIERS
NEED FOR RECIPROCITY MR. PARRY'S COMMENT SYDNEY, Fob. 2. Members of the Sydney branch of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association met Mr. W. E. Parry, the Dominion's Minister of Internal Affairs, to-day.
The deputation congratulated the Dominion Parliament on the benefits provided by its new pensions enactments, and discussed several phases ol" pensions reciprocity between New Zealand and Australia, expressing the hope that success would result from Mr. Parry's forthcoming conference with the Commonwealth Government. Mr. Parry said that he felt the association's aims and suggestions merited the consideration of the two Governments and added: "It has always been my opinion that wherever in the Empire an incapacitated soldier is located he should be liberally treated for his great service to the nation, and that each component part should share the responsibility."
