WALKED INTO AMBUSH
TROOPS IN PALESTINE AIR FORCE REPRISALS ("Reed. Feb. 2, 3.30 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 1. The Times Jerusalem correspondent says that the casualfies in the Ulster Rifles, when two members were killed and two others wounded in a skirmisk with Arabs near Jenin, occurred in an engagement between the regiment and 40 armed Arabs under Sheik Atir.
The Ulster riflemen walked into an ambush, incurring the above-men-tioned casualties. A radio called aeroplanes to their aid, the air force killing 21 Arabs and wounding 12.
