TACTFUL POLICE
LONDON, Nov. 11. A motorist fined for exceeding the speed limit at Wealdstone, Middlesex, yesterday, wrote:— “I would like to draw your attention to the exceptionally tactful and efficient manner in which the three police officers concerned carried out their duties. I was furious at being stopped, and the tact of these policemen was such that the serious antagonism between police and motorists, which is definitely increasing, would be forgotten if all police duties were performed In this way.”
