GRAND CITY’S HACK CUP SERGIA’S NINE FURLONGS HUTANA WINS OPEN SIX (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, last night. The Taranaki Jockey Club’s meeting was concluded in hot, fine weather to-day. The totalisator handled £18,949 10s, an increase of £6169 on the investments on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £43,666, an increase of £10,643 10s. Senacre fell at the finish of the Warea Hack Stake. 'The rider, N. R. McKenzie received a broken collarbone. An inquiry was held and the stewards found that L. H. Clifford, the rider of the winner, Flashing Spear, finished carelessly .and contributed to the mishap. Clifford was suspended for a fortnight. Results were:—
