DEATH OF COMEDIAN
LADDIE CLIFF PASSES
LONDON, Dec. 8. The death has occurred of the musical comedy artist, Laddie Cliff. He was one of the outstanding comedians on the London stage, and played in many successful productions at the Gaiety, the Hippodrome and the Winter Garden. He was one of the original Co-optimists—Stanley Holloway, Betty Chester and Phyllis Monkman included—who entertained for several years at the Palace.
