Butterscotch Fingers Melt 2oz Butter in small pan.: add 4oz Brown Sugar; stir till well mixed, cool, and add half-teaspoon HANSELL'S CLOUDY VANILLA FOOD FLAVOURING, half-teaspoon HANSELL'S CLOUDY CARAMEL FOOD FLAVOURING; 2 Eggs. Mix in 602 Flour, 1 teaspoon Baking Powder, 2oz Crushed Walnuts. Spread in buttered, shallow tin. Place near top of oven; temperature mild but to suit other goods baking underneath. Time, about 30 minutes. Cool and cut into fingers, sprinkling with icing sugar. IMPORTANT It is imperative that HANSELL'S FOOD FLAVOURINGS be used as stipulated in this recipe.
