Dr. McKibbon 'stated last night that the girl was making very* good progress. From the beginning of October until the present time, there had beer, a total of seven mild cases over the whole district of Otago and Southland, Dr. McKibbon said. Owaka was an area not touched during the epidemic, but it was unlikely that anything of a serious nature would develop as close observation was being kept on all districts.
