Owing to the Hollywood fear of notoriety the hopes of the golfer, John Montague, of earning £200,000 are diminishing. Shortly after it had been announced that he was playing a role in Bing Crosby's new picture, the Paramount Company announced- tint it had cancelled, the arrangement. This follows close on his acquittal by the Elizabethan jury on the seven-year-old robbery charge.
