VIEWS OF DR. 11. B. TURBOTT No fear is entertained by the district health officer, Dr. H. B. Turbott, that the recent case of infantile paralysis reported in the Waikato will lead to a further outbreak of the dis ease in epidemic form. Dr. Turbott expressed the opinion that the epidemic last summer was such as to raise the immunity of the people, and was proof enough that the chances of another serious recurrence were meagre. Odd cases before and after an epidemic were bound to occur, he said.
