INDIAN PILOT KILLED START FOR ATLANTIC HOP DOUBLE TRIP PLANNED (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Oct. 29, noon.),' LONDON, Oct. 28. An Indian, G. P. Nair, left for Dakar to attempt a solo double crossing of the Atlantic in the plane Spirit of India, which a Hindu priest blessed at Croydon. The plane later crashed near Rouen and Nair was killed.
