STABBED IN BACK
GIRL VISITOR TO GAOL ONE OF CONCERT PARTY ATTACK P.Y PRISONER (Eluc. Tul. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Oct. 15, 1:50 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 14. As the prisoners were trooping out after a concert at the Perth prison one rushed forward and attacked Miss Helen Heggie, a member of the concert party, and stabbed her in the back with an improvised knife made from a barrel hoop. The blade, which was Sin. in length, penetrated to the hilt. Other prisoners grappled with the assailarit and he was badly mauled before the warders intervened.
