DIVORCE RECORD
The steady increase in the number of divorce petitions which has been noted for some time shows no sign of halting, and the 148 which have already been set down for the next quarterly sessions of the Supreme Court at Auckland are easily a record for any quarter in its history. The list is not yet complete, and a number more may still be added. As usual, the great majority of the petitions are not defended.
