SOUTH ISLAND'S SHARE COMPLAINT TO BE SIFTED (Psr Press Association) WELLINGTON, last night. In the House of Representatives to-day. Dr. D. G. McMillan (Lab., Dunedin West) asked the Minister in charge of the Tourist Department an urgent question, if his attention hn'd been drawn to the statement of an overseas visitor that she and others had been advised by departmental officers not to visit scenic resorts in the South Island. , The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, stated that in the absence of the Miruster-in-eharge of the department lie could not go into detail in the ma'tter, but he would state that the Government was flierc to govern and administer New Zealand as a whole, and the South Island tourist resorts would Ret the same attention as those of the North Island. The matter would be referred to the Minister-in-charge, who no doubt would inquire into it.
