ENGLAND'S SELECTION TEN RUNNERS ACCEPT (Elce. Tel. Copyright—United Tress Assn.) LONDON, Oct. 12. Ten athletes, among whom are three Amateur Athletic Association champions, have so far accepted invitations to join the English team for the Empire Barnes in Sydney. It is expected that the team will consist of 16 members. The athletes are:—C. B. Holmes and K. J. Richardson (100 and'22oyds), K. S. Duncan (100yds and long jump), W. Roberts, F. Handlev, and B. McCabe (half mile), B. Ecles (mile). P. Ward (mile and three miles), L. Wcatherall (three and six miles events), and A. NorJis (marathon).
