AMERICAN EXSERVICEMEN RECEPTION BY ROYALTY (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oct. 11. A special party of members of the American Legion, who have been visiting the European battlefields and graves, have arrived in London. The legion’s last visit was in 1927. The party paraded to-day and laid a wreath at the Cenotaph in Whitehall. Later they visited the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey. The legionaires will be received on Tuesday by Their Majesties at Buckingham Palace. Monday’s programme includes a reception by the Lord Mayor at the Mansion House in the City, and a Government dinner.
