OBITUARY

AIR. E. LISTER Mr. Ernest Lister, who had been a prominent Rotorua business man and popular member of the community for about 12 years, died on Saturday. The late Mr. Lister was born at Blackpool, England, 50 years ago, and arrived in New Zealand at the age of about 20. After being in Dunedin, Dannevirke, Gisborne and Auckland, tie went into business in Rotorua. In 1917 he married Miss Julia Barber, Auckland, and shortly afterward served overseas with the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces until the termination of the war. He is survived by his widow and one daughter.
