LACK OF INCIDENT

ANTWERP DISAPPOINTED CREW OF MUTINY SHIP (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) meed. Sept. 7,2 p.m.) ANTWERP, Sept. 6. During the absence of Captain C. McClure in London, an officer appropriately named Bearpark takes over the command of the South African steamer Sherard Osborn, which, on Thursday, in the Bay of Biscay, inward bound to Rotterdam from Table Bay, sent out SOS messages declaring there was "almost a mutiny and a sabotage aboard," and which arrived at Antwerp to-day. The crew nonchalantly departed under the supervision of two policemen armed with revolvers and truncheons. They were taken by motor bus to the Harwich steamer. The onlookers were disappointed at the lack of further incidents, which included the throwing overboard of an unpopular sailor's dunnage. The crew after lunch scattered soup and other food all over the forecastle. Mr. W. Gore Graham, the fourth engineer, who is a Cambridge undergraduate, left the ship without informing the captain that he intended to fly to London after paying off tomorrow.
