WAINUI SURF CLUB FUND TOTALS £llO/10/Fresh interest has been aroused in the Wainui Surf Life Saving Club since the announcement made by the management committee of its decision lo purchase a surf boat for the beach. There was a large muster lor the practise during the week-end. Members appreciated the fact that they would have to have a knowledge of the land drill and reel work before being able to man the boat, and as soon as the craft is landed at Gisborne the committee desires to concentrate on that branch of the work with those wishing to go into the boat.
